At the bowling alley, we rented the bowling shoes and got the balls, then when to our assigned alley. I have to admit, Makayla's pretty savvy, but we were tied. Eventually it was my last turn. I held the ball tightly, took a breath, began smoothly walking and swinging my arm back to roll the ball. I let go, and the ball rolled forward and knocked down 9 pins. Sweet! I walked back to the chairs and Makayla received a text. She looked at it, and somewhat smiled. "Hey babe... It's your turn..." I say, trying to get her to look up from her phone. "Yeah, one sec..." she responded as she began texting. "Who are you texting?" I ask curiously. "No one," she said as she put her phone back in her pocket and stood up. "Well obviously it's someone..." "Don't worry about it..." She grabbed her bowling ball and prepared to roll it. She let go of it swiftly and let it roll forward. She hit 8 of them. I stood up and walked to her. "Ha! I win!" I brag. "Okay, that's great! Let's go..." Makayla says as she begins taking off the rental shoes and putting her original ones on. I <b>...</b>
